Why did my test results disappear on MyChart? ›

Some test results are not released to your MyChart account because of their sensitive nature. Your doctor determines which types of test results are able to be accessed through MyChart and which might require an in person conversation.

MyChart is a secure online portal that provides information about your medical care and connects you to your Johns Hopkins Medicine health care team. Schedule appointments, view test reports, pay medical bills and more.

MyChart is well suited for large organizations where patients often receive care in a few places. It coordinates the information across organizations well, and patients can learn how to use the UI and be comfortable with it even if they're receiving care at a different clinic.

Tap Add a document or Image to upload an image or document for your upcoming appointment. You will need to have image or document files on your mobile device. If you do not have images available, you will have the option of capturing images or documents using your mobile device during the upload process.

All lab results are compared to a standard guideline for what is considered “within normal range.” These standards were developed as a guide but are not absolute. You will see an exclamation point (!) next to the result if it's outside of the normal range, but that isn't necessarily a cause for concern.

Remember there are many reasons why a healthcare provider will contact you after a medical test. If results are concerning, they may call you or have a receptionist call to schedule an appointment. 15 A healthcare provider may also call to assure you everything is okay or discuss any needed follow-up tests.

MyChart is EPIC's patient portal. MyChart is a secure means for patients to access parts of their health records through a web browser and cell-phone apps.

Your Information in One Place. If you've been seen at more than one healthcare organization, you likely have multiple health records. MyChart lets you pull all of your medical records together and view them in one place. We call this Happy Together.

How is MyChart secure? Your healthcare providers take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal usernames, and passwords.

MyChart gives you access to your health information and a direct connection to your care team, with tools to help you actively participate in your care.

Understanding MyChart messaging

Multiple members of your care team may view MyChart messages in order to get an appropriate and efficient response; this may include nurses or advance practice clinicians other than your primary care provider (PCP).

Why can't I message any provider? Each organization chooses who is available for MyChart messaging. Generally, you can only message providers with whom you've had a recent or upcoming visit.

You may WITHHOLD notes or test results from MyChart by selecting “Manual Release” in Epic, BUT only for specific reasons, as follows: 1. Patient/Proxy Request. Any patient (or their authorized representative) may request results or notes NOT be released to MyChart.

Getting Your Breast Biopsy Results

Results will be in your medical record, sent to your doctor, and available for you in MyChart on the day the pathologist completes the report.

To protect the privacy of your data, the personal information in your lab test order must match your Labcorp Patient account. If the information is different, your results may not appear in your account. If you need help accessing your results, you can contact us.

From the time of collection, many assays have a designated stability window during which testing must be performed; if a sample doesn't arrive at the testing facility in time, then the lab may not be able to guarantee the accuracy of results, resulting in the testing being canceled altogether.
