Getting an Instant Pot is a big life event, like getting engaged or realizing you have a nursery to decorate. And like all big life events these days, that means it’s time to make a Pinterest board.
According to Pinterest, Instant Pot searches on the site suddenly jumped 152 percent on July 17. Because what do you do when you finally get an Instant Pot? You go to Pinterest and start looking for things to do with it, of course.
When you get a new Instant Pot, it’s tempting to start with something basic like a pot of rice, but if you make something boring you might wind up shrugging over your Instant Pot and saying, “I don’t get the hype.” Don’t start with lentil soup unless you really like lentil soup.
